Sal Amadeo – Founder & Director

In practice since 1989, Sal is a certified oriental medical doctor, licensed acupuncturist, and certified hypnotherapist. He is also a licensed massage therapist. His study and certifications include eastern traditions of oriental medicine and herbal therapy, traditional Chinese medicine, five-element acupuncture, Japanese Toyohari acupuncture, and others. He also offers modern western techniques such as myofascial release, postural analysis, and structural balancing of the human frame.

Sal has successfully treated patients for a diverse range of health issues including pain, emotional disorders, stress related disorders, and chronic illness. His full spectrum of alternatives provides clients with an exceptional level of holistic care that is individualized to each client’s needs.

He has lectured at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Griffin Hospital on the benefits of holistic therapy for cardiac patients. He has also been a guest speaker at Yale University, Quinnipiac College, and Southern Connecticut State College, as well as on radio and television. Sal conducts numerous seminars and classes to colleagues and medical personnel, and his articles on the benefits of acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine have been published in several industry periodicals.

Liane Donnelly, LMT

Liane is a licensed massage therapist. A graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, she focuses on offering her clients what is most appropriate for their physical and emotional needs and uses various modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, pregnancy massage and Reiki. And, Liane’s extensive background with the elderly gives her special insight and sensitivity that is demonstrated in her work.

 

Remy Amadeo, LMT & Founder

Remy Amadeo is a licensed massage therapist and the designer of the facility for Amadeus Natural Health (along with the nearby guest houses).
